BETACHEK Glucoflex-R is a green/blue"visually read" blood glucose test. Glucoflex-R is a premium visual blood glucose test with twin reactive pads and a large multi-colour comparison chart providing precision in result interpretation and ease of use.

As one of the symptoms of diabetes may be differing degrees of colour blindness, diabetics have the choice of different colour charts. BETACHEK Glucoflex-R is for diabetics who prefer the green/blue colour chart.

Why choose a visual test?

There is a growing body of diabetes health experts, particularly in the UK who believes that for the control of type II diabetes, a visual test is all that is required. There are many benefits to using a Visual testing system, they include:

  • Economical –Visual test strips are significantly less expensive than test strips designed for use in a meter. Over a 12 month period the savings can be measured in 1000’s of dollars.
  • Portability - Carrying a meter, lancets, test strips and control solution with you on your daily travels can be extremely inconvenient. Travelling or holidaying with visual strips is also easier.  
  • Maintenance - Unlike meter's, Glucoflex-R requires no cleaning, repairs or maintenance. Even the quality control component is built into the colour chart so users can be assured of the quality of the test strip at all times.
  • Meter Back Up – If you use a meter, a visual test system is an ideal back up to keep on hand should your meter system fail. With 2 years expiry they can be kept for emergencies.
