Your results are valuable.

Each time you perform a test you are gathering information that shows you and your healthcare professional how well you are managing your diabetes. Over time these results form a picture that becomes part of your medical record and provides the basis for decisions that impact on your health. 

It is therefore important that these results be recorded either into a diary or onto a PC before they are lost.

When using the G5 meter, the result is recorded onto a memory card. Unlike other meters this result is never erased, giving you the comfort of knowing your test history is recorded permanently. Memory cards may be reviewed using the meter or transferred to a PC at your convenience. If you don't have access to a PC your memory cards will keep all your data safe until you do.

The Betachek G5 was recognised for its innovative design and technology by receiving the Australian Design Award of the Year. The ADA committee stated the “streamlined form and brilliant software-electronics capability provide the world’s fastest and most accurate diabetes test”.

External form and ergonomic considerations include:

“the size and shape of the meter makes it feel good to hold and easy to carry and store. The overall form of the meter and that of the removable strip guide are smooth and easy to clean. The keys are well spaced, with large legends that are high in contrast for easy identification. The blood-glucose reading is displayed with large characters for ease of reading by the visually impaired.
