"Diabetes self-test available in supermarkets
A self-test for diabetes can now be purchased from local supermarkets.
Dr Anthony Bransgrove developed the test because of concerns about the growing number of undiagnosed sufferers of type II diabetes.
He says he hopes the test's availability means it will not take years for people to diagnose the adult onset of diabetes.
"The ready availability of a diabetic test system provides a simple first step alternative for many who otherwise would not seek or take advice," he said."
